Continuing the Conversation Questions: January 18/19, 2020
Neighborly | Scripture Reference: Ephesians 2:11-22
Discuss the following questions with your Small Group:

1.    Read Ephesians 2:11-22. Find the phrases that describe how we are reconciled to God and the phrases the describe how we are reconciled to each other.
2.    In verse 14 we read the words “barrier” and “dividing wall” to describe the religious isolations the Jews and Gentiles experienced with each other. What barriers and isolations do you see in today’s world? In your neighborhood? At home and at work?
3.    Where have you experienced or have witnessed racism in your personal life?
4.    Read the following verses: Genesis 1:27; Galatians 3:28; James 2:1; Matthew 22:39-40. Why is racism a sin an offensive to God?
5.    Do you find it difficult and/or scary to enter into the conversation about diversity and racial issues? Why or why not? Why is it important that a church celebrate diversity within its unity?
