I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. – John 16:33

Overcomers is a gathering of patients and caregivers who meet to provide physical, emotional and spiritual encouragement to those with life-defining illnesses. Our hope is to encourage, comfort and disciple one another in being purposeful for Jesus Christ while finishing strong!

We gather the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month at 6:30 PM at Faith Dyer (100 81st Ave).

Each meeting begins with refreshments and a time of fellowship.

Join us as we discuss various Biblically based topics. At times we will break into separate patient & caregiver groups for an open discussion. This allows both groups to separately voice their different needs and concerns.

Yes! Anyone who is struggling with a life-defining illness and their caregivers are welcome. It is our intention each meeting to share our hope in Jesus Christ, peace through surrender and joy in the journey. We trust and believe that you will leave blessed and encouraged.

We were inspired by a song by Christian recording artist, Mandisa, called, “Overcomers.” Some of the lyrics are:

You’re an overcomer
Stay in the fight ’til the final round
You’re not going under
‘Cause God is holding you right now
You might be down for a moment
Feeling like it’s hopeless
That’s when he reminds you
That you’re an overcomer
You’re an overcomer
