Community Engagement

Faith Church has been on mission to be the hands and feet of Christ throughout the region. We feel strongly about the biblical call to serve and reach out to those in need.

Our outreach focuses on three main areas: food, shelter and education.

Northern IL Mobile Food Bank
Twice a month (2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month) at 4:30 PM we host the Faith Family Market Food Pantry at our location. Serving opportunities include distributing food and supplies, assisting with logistics, and praying with and for our neighbors. Contact Mandy Price for more information.

Kids Hope
Once a week, one hour mentoring at Beecher Elementary School. Volunteers are paired up with a student for the school year. Contact Jennifer Maehl or Mandy Price for more information.

YFC Hanover

Teen Mother Choices
A weekly program which mentors young moms, making it possible for them to overcome the obstacles that hold them back from providing a sustainable, fulfilling life for themselves and their children. Homesteads
Home rehab and rebuild projects in the Sauk Village area. Visit www.homesteads.net for more information. 

Chicagoland Prison Outreach
Woodshop and welding programs working with individuals who have been incarcerated. Contact Dave Nearpass  for more information.

Habitat NWI
Home rehab and building projects, or helping at their resale store. Serving opportunities weekly for small groups or individuals. Contact Leslie Corona at (219 923-7265 ext. 1316 for more information. 

Grace Beyond Borders
Housing ministry for women and their children as they overcome homelessness and addiction. Serving opportunities include maintenance/repair work on the facility, serving meals, and mentoring women, Contact Sade Castillon (312) 774-8653 for more information.

Women’s Center NWI
Ministry serving pregnant women in our region facing hard decisions about the life of their unborn child. Come alongside this work through joining the prayer list by texting EZWCPray to (219) 205-4539.

Welcome Network
Works with immigrants and refugees. Serving opportunities include inviting for meals, providing transportation, job opportunities, etc. for those new to the United States. Contact Linda Kruszynski for more information.
