Discuss the following questions with your Small Group:

  1. Share your definition of the word “doubt.”
  2. What circumstances would cause people to doubt GOD’s work in their life?  In their own salvation?
  3. Have you ever questioned your standing with the Lord, and if so, what caused you to do so?
  4. Read John 20:24-29.  Why do we often refer to Thomas as doubting Thomas?  Do you agree with this title?
  5. What are Jesus’ words to Thomas?  Jesus welcomes Thomas to check out the evidence.  He is being patient with Thomas.  Jesus welcomes doubters to come to Him.  Why should this be encouraging to us?
  6. What was Thomas declaring when he said, “My Lord and my GOD!”
  7. Share how you first came to a place in your life when you realized that Jesus is your Lord and your GOD.

Truth in Genesis

What’s truth? We live in a society where people tend to define their own truths, using their own guidelines. Where values and beliefs are spun in such a way that makes us question if God’s way really is the best.

But does a Universal Truth exist? We believe there is and it’s been recorded in roughly 757,000 words. We invite you to join us as we open that source, God’s Word, and equip you to have complicated conversations with those who are defining their own truth.
