In the month of October, 2020, this post will have a different look. Along with the weekend services, many small groups will be studying the Book of First Thessalonians. The questions posed each week will be in three sections:
Scripture – questions to help us understand the text.
Accountability – questions to help us check in with one another on our daily choices.
Transformational – questions to help us understand how the Bible is alive and how God might be seeking us to change as a result of being in His Word.

Passage – I Thessalonians, chapter 1
Series – One Foot Raised
Message – The Space for Faith
SCRIPTURE – This first passage focuses on the characteristics of the church in Thessalonica. Make a list of those characteristics.
ACCOUNTABILITY – If our faith is real, it will help us survive difficult days, right? Do we expect that? Are we prepared for that? How has your hope in Christ affected the way you respond to difficult times?
TRANSFORMATION – Now that you’ve identified the characteristics of the Thessalonians, what words would honestly describe our lives?
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK – Of the words you used to describe your life, which word are you least happy about? Asking God for His help, what might you do this week to address that specific characteristic?
