  1. What are some huge battles you are facing at the present time?
  2. Read Joshua 10:1-5. What are the leaders of Gibeon thinking right now? What was the agreement made with Joshua in the previous chapter (see 9:11 and 9:25-27)?
  3. Read Joshua 10:6-8. What was God’s word to Joshua in verse 8? Why do you think Joshua is so confident to move forward?
  4. Read Joshua 10:9-15. The march to Gilgal to Gibeon was approximately 20 miles with an upward elevation change of 3300 feet! Can you think of possible explanations for the miracle in verse 13?
  5. When one puts their faith in God, what are some surprise blessings they may see?
  6. Do you ever ask for big things like Joshua did? Read Matthew 17:20. What does Jesus say about prayer in this verse?
