We look at another prophecy fulfilled this week – this time it is about the life and ministry of John the Baptist. John’s words challenged his culture. And the scholars of the day were reminded of Isaiah’s words in Isaiah 40. Why do you think John’s teaching threatened the leaders of the day?

ACCOUNTABILITY

Look specifically at Luke 3:10-14. How did John encourage the people to live differently? What are the connections to our culture today? Do John’s counter-cultural challenges touch an area of your life? 

TRANSFORMATION

Maybe you are not a tax collector, but in keeping with his message, what in your life could be adjusted?
