Sermon: YOUR Big Questions

We’ve addressed some big questions in recent weeks, ones that deserve more time and thought. Please use these questions below as discussion starters for your group.

  1. Which subject have you been thinking about the most and why?
  • Why do bad things happen to good people?
  • Is there evidence that God exists?
  • What is the relationship between faith and science?
  • Am I living a life of integrity? Am I the same when I’m with “church friends,” other friends and when I’m alone?
  • Is the Bible reliable?
  1. What other “big questions” have been coming to mind?
  2. Which question do you need to spend more time with? Where will you go to find deeper answers?
  3. Which subject has come up in conversation with others?
  4. How have your answers to these questions changed in recent weeks?
  5. Did any of Sunday’s topics spark more questions for you?

The Ten Commandments

Most people know about the Ten Commandments, even if they do not necessarily know what they are. Rather than viewing them as relics of another time, the Ten Commandments reflect how we can love God and love others. Our response to them matters because it shows whether or not we trust God and believe what He says is best for us. Join us as we explore how the Ten Commandments lead us to a better way of life.
